Alloy 44 is also known as 4J44

Alloy 44 has a certain coefficient of linear thermal expansion over a certain temperature range. It is used to make iron-nickel-cobalt alloy strip, bar, plate and pipe with hard glass matching sealing. It is suitable for electric vacuum devices such as transmitting tube, oscillation tube, ignition tube, transistor, tube seal plug and relay shell.
