UNS N06022 is also known as Hastelloy C22, NS131
UNS N06022 has excellent pitting corrosion resistance, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It has excellent antioxidant water medium capacity, including wet chlorine, nitric acid or a mixture of oxidizing acids containing chloride ions. The UNS N06022 alloy also has ideal resistance to the reducing and oxidizing environments encountered during the process.UNS N06022 alloys have exceptional resistance to various chemical environments, including highly oxidizing substances such as ferric chloride, copper chloride, chlorine, hot polluted solutions (organic and inorganic), formic acid, acetic acid, acetic anhydride, seawater and salt solutions.
