HastelloyX is also known as GH3536, GH536 (China), NC22FeD (France),.2.4665, NiCr22Fe18Mo (Germany), HastelloyX, UNS N06002(USA) NiCr21Fe18Mo9(ISO)
HastelloyX has excellent oxidation resistance, reducibility and neutral environment capability, which is suitable for smelting furnace and jet engines operating at up to 1200 ℃. The alloy forms a protective and tough oxide film that will not fall off. Therefore, it maintains oxidation resistance at high temperatures.

Welding
HastelloyX can be welded with various welding processes, such as tungsten inert gas welding, plasma arc welding, manual subarc welding, metal inert gas welding, molten inert gas welding. Impulse arc welding is preferred.
Before welding, the material shall be treated in solid solution state to remove oxidation skin, oil stain and various marks. Both sides of the weld shall be polished to a bright metal surface with a width of about 25mm.
With low heat input, the interlayer temperature does not exceed 100℃.
No pre-weld - and post-weld heat treatment is required
