Product Description and Application
ERNi-1 is also known as NO2061, NiTi3,SNi2061
ERNi-1 is used primarily in tungsten gas welding, molten gas welding and submerged arc welding in Nickel 200 and 201 alloys. It is also available in steel surfacing. The titanium and carbon in the weld metal react to reduce the free carbon to a relatively low level, so this electrode can be used for welding Nickel 201. Weld metal has excellent corrosion resistance, especially resistance to alkali metal corrosion. ERNi-1 wires can be used in a variety of welding situations, including Nickel 200, 201 alloys welding with stainless steel, carbon steel, INCONEL, INCOLOY, copper-nickel and MONEL alloys. It can also be used for welding between MONEL and copper-nickel alloys with carbon steel, copper-nickel alloys with INCONEL or INCOLOY alloys.
