Product Description and Application
The Incoloy 800 HT is nickel - iron - chromium alloy that is resistant to many corrosion medium. Its high nickel content makes it have good resistance to stress corrosion cracking under water-borne corrosion conditions. High chromium content makes it have better resistance to spot corrosion and Crevice corrosion cracking performance. The alloy has good resistance to nitric and organic acids, but limited resistance to sulfuric and hydrochloric acid. Excellent resistance to corrosion in oxidizing and non-oxidizing salts, except for the possibility of spot corrosion in halides. It also has good corrosion resistance in water, steam and mixtures of steam, air and carbon dioxide. Used in nitric acid condenser - nitric acid corrosion resistance, steam heating tube - good mechanical properties, heating element tube - good mechanical properties and etc.
